My name is Heather Altmann, and I am a California State Certified Studio Teacher who has taught everything from Pre-K through 12th grade.  I earned my Bachelor of Arts, Multiple Subject Credential, and Single-Subject Teaching Credential in English from California State University San Bernardino and later cleared my credentials through the UCLA Extension Program.  I'm a proud union member of IATSE Local 884, and am available to work on both union and non-union jobs.   

I absolutely love my job and all the unique situations I find myself in while providing education and welfare for minors working in the entertainment industry.  I take great pride in my work, and always bring a positive and helpful attitude to set; even in extreme climates and environments. My main focus in this industry is to come up with solutions to problems while maintaining the integrity and standards of this important profession.  I want to continue to make the process easier for everyone I interact with throughout the day; hence why I created this resource. I know it can be stressful trying to navigate the many laws involved with working with minors in or from California.
